Greg’s minimal desk submission. I think the chair is awesome too!
I like my space to be as minimal as possible, while also surrounding myself with design items that inspire me. For example, I enjoy the playfulness of the Kay Bojesen Monkey and the artwork that surrounds my desk are all classic items that I enjoy. Yesterday I added the Eames Fiberglass chair, this one being one of the new release ones, just out from Herman Miller.
Space saving “pencil desk” from West Elm.
Cathy Collins awesome writing nook in her Arkansas attic.
Cathy cleaned out a storage space with a cedar ceiling to create this quiet writing nook. The antique chair is from Something Simple, a shop in town.
One item of feedback I received recently is about insufficient postings that contain NO computer on the desk. There’s actually a decent amount of those desks here but I decided to make it easier to locate. So I have added a “Computerless” category down the right column under “Quick find by:.” This category will get updated along the way but already has a nice archive of about 70 or so desks.
