Victoria Solomon of Victoria Elizabeth Design submitted a workspace she created.

This retro workspace is a fun office nook at a kids’ musical school. I wanted to create a quick “stop and work” space, using the IKEA Malm occasional table for flexibility/movement, two Eames-style molded plastic chairs, and combo Behr paint colors in Aqua Spray and Shoreline Green.
The colors are calming and fun for any kids who come by the work space, while the furniture lines are clean and sophisticated.

I often treat my workspace as a sacred location in our home but recently I allowed my 7 year old to sit at my desk and on my computer to watch some Youtube videos.  It turned out to be a real treat for him because he understands the importance my workspace has on my life, and ultimately, his life too. Some key family decisions are made and executed from this very spot.
