Jen’s workspace from Wesley Chapel, FL. This is my home office – it’s where I talk with clients, edit photos, design websites, sketch out logos and write articles for my blog, Family Sponge. It’s also located in my bedroom, just to the right of our bed. So I guess it’s actually a “bedside office”. Ryan refinished this desk bought from the Salvation Army, and we found this funky chair at a thrift store as well. The seat cushion of the chair lifts up and my kids like to hide treasures in here for me to find. So sweet!

I consider this pretty special.  This is Peter Frazier’s stand-up desk built inside of a detached home office overlooking nature. To see the exterior check this out. Recently I decided that working standing up would help me live a more active life. It’s worked. Along with meditating, running, hiking, and kayaking, working standing up (with hourly interludes of pushups, situps or yoga) I’ve dropped 30 pounds. My thinking is clearer for longer and you’re more likely to find me with things in perspective. I’m fortunate enough to work at home above Chuckanut Bay in Bellingham, Washington. This stand up desk is a piece of cedar with its live edge intact. On it I have room for a Dell 24” monitor as well as my MacBook Pro, and my good old Monsoon sound system. The hard drive holds the documentary I am working on called “Stumblebum”.
